Today XLGAMES signed a contract to develop a new MMORPG with one of Take-Two's IPs. President of 2K Games Christoph Hartmann said "After seeing the development process for ArcheAge and the exceptional online game development capabilities of XLGAMES we are pleased with the decision to introduce a new MMORPG with one of 2K's IPs."

Take-Two Interactive's Asia President Hubert Larenaudie also added "We trust with XLGAMES' Song Jae-Kyung, new and exciting games will be born." For those of you who don't know Song Jae-Kyung, or Jake Song is the CEO and founder of XLGAMES and a legendary PC game programmer/designer in Korea. He is is most notable for his work on programming and designing Lineage Bloodphlege which was the first MMO to reach over 2 million subscribers, forever changing NCSoft, Korea and PC gaming here.

There was no mention on what IP in Take-Two's library of worlds will be fleshed out by XLGAMES but its exciting to imagine the possibilities. To get you speculating let me remind you what Take-Two has to offer. There is Borderlands, Bioshock, and all of Rockstar's games to name a few. Exciting times.
