World Cyber Games announces Busan, South Korea as the host city for the WCG 2011 grand final.



The World Cyber Games is an international e-sports event operated by Korean company World Cyber Games Inc., and backed by Samsung Electronics and, since 2006, Microsoft Corporation. The World Cyber Games were set up in 2000 with the first festival being held in 2001. Since 2004 a different city has hosted the event. The WCG goal is to be the olympics of e-sports. Some of the games that WCG has qualifiers for are: Warcraft 3, Counterstrike, Fifa and StarCraft: BroodWar.
